So hey everyone, remember a petition from a million years ago that got pulled off because we got a shit load of support for it and they needed to examine if the signatures were authentic?
Its back up again! (Took them long enough) So for anyone who didn't get a chance to sign it still wants to sign, here is your chance! Please help my friend get her parents back, this is something we are still going to work towards. Edit 5:59: Finally here is the straight answer about why people can't access the petition. The website wants to examine the signatures to make sure that they are legitimate because of how many people submitted their signatures.
So in other words: you guys kicked ass in showing your support!
Edit 4:53 PM: So 400 signatures have been reached and I made a poll about what people want for spoilers, but I am going to do a funny, fanservice comic regardless of the polls as my thanks to everyone who participated! Also, if there is anyone out there who made journals to spread the word about this, comment here so I can add you to the list below of awesome people who helped make this happen.
Lets keep those signatures going!
This is about immigration guys so this is serious business.
"At 19, being a U.S citizen--born and raised--I currently work an hourly job and share a home with three other people. At this time I'm on medical leave due to mental issues garnered from my parents' deportation. I have been recently diagnosed with PTSD and OCD--I have nightmares that one day I will wake up to the news that my parents are dead in war-torn Mexico. My mind is filled with the thoughts of what could have been, and it hurts so much. While that may not sound so severe to you, to my parents: it does. Healthcare isn't cheap here, and I don't have insurance because frankly I can't afford it."
One of my best friends, who is a Mexican-American, had her parents deported back to Mexico for bullshit reasons and technicalities. An attorney is petitioning on behalf of my friend so this is not one of those bullshit online petitions. Now I know what some people are thinking. Some of you honestly have problems of your own, some of you might be studying for a stupid ass exam, some of you are more concerned about paying the rent or your phone bill for the next month and hell, some of you might already have a bunch of other friends with a bunch of other problems you may already helping them with so your hands are already full, but stop thinking about that for ONE moment and take the time to just go to the link below to quickly sign the petition.
I know I have been asking a lot of things this week (coughcoughpreviousjournalscough)
It literally takes a few seconds, even I
had enough time to do this.www.change.org/petitions/help-…
You can go here to sign and I suggest some people take some time to read why you're signing it as well.If my friend can reach 400 signatures for her petition, I will reveal 2 designs of anyones choosing for PGNC and 1 fanservice group shot for an undetermined amount of ass as long as I can draw it all.
Tell everyone you know. Your sister, mother, brother, IRL friend, hell even people you barely know on the internet just to take a second to do this. There will be a funny comic created prior to this message. Anyone who is on the list of bets below from a long time ago from the Super Bowl, consider your side of the bet fulfilled if you sign and spread the word. </big>Also, in case there are butt sore people who are hard asses about maintaining good border-control, this person put it better than I ever would.
"I find it unethical to tear apart a family. I say that there does need to be reform to our immigration law that would prevent things like this from happening. They paid their dues over the years they should have a second chance and be allowed back into this country. We let our our citizens slide in and out of jail yet we don't throw them out. This should not be a pen whipped matter, which it has sadly been." -Jeremy Sprenger
People who are also spreading the word!
